Job Description: Security Support Administrator II The Security Support Administrator II plays a vital role in safeguarding sensitive patient data, medical systems, and infrastructure. This role requires expertise in identifying and mitigating security risks, implementing robust security measures, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and HITECH. If so, apply today As an Elara Caring Security Support Administrator II, you’ll contribute to our success in the following ways: Monitor network and system activity for potential security breaches or violations Perform regular risk assessments and vulnerability testing on healthcare systems and applications Ensure compliance with industry regulations such as HIPAA, HITECH, and other relevant healthcare security frameworks Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards that align with regulatory requirements Assist in the design and deployment of security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and encryption solutions Why Join the Elara Caring mission? Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience) At least 3 years of experience in information security, preferably within the healthcare industry Experience with healthcare-specific security tools and standards A certification in Information Security is preferred (CISSP, CEH, CISM, or HCISPP) Reliable transportation to perform job tasks You will report to the Director Information Technology Infrastructure.
