This individual will serve a key function in assisting in environmental field work by collecting field data and samples. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of top-notch professionals in a variety of geographic areas and regulatory programs, and to collaborate and learn from our multi-disciplinary team of site/civil, geotechnical, survey, and landscape architect professionals on landmark land development projects.Job Responsibilities-Assist with conducting various types of environmental monitoring (water, air, asbestos, lead) using basic field instruments;-Operate and maintain various remedial systems; such as drills, pumps, electrical equipment;-Assemble and maintain field equipment and systems; inspect equipment and troubleshoot as necessary;-Collect water samples from streams and lakes, raw, semi-processed or processed water, industrial waste water, or water from other sources to assess pollution problem;-Produce timely and detailed service reports; and-Perform other duties as requested.Qualifications-High School diploma or equivalent. Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or related field preferred;-Hazwoper Certification, maintenance of annual physical and respirator fit test, annual Hazwoper 8 hr. re-certification, as required;-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel;-2+ years prior related experience preferred;-Familiarity with AutoCAD preferred;-Strong attention to detail;-Ability to multi-task effectively;-Excellent analytical and judgment capabilities;-Ability to work well individually and within groups;-Strong written and verbal communication skills;-Valid driver’s license in good standing; and-Ability to travel to various job sites and spend most, if not all of the work day on-site, as-required.
