Overview

We are seeking a Lead Event Specialist to complete in-store food and non-food demonstrations, maintain equipment and supplies, communicate with store management, and provide leadership to the team. This part-time role offers a starting salary of $15.50/hr.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain event equipment and supplies
  • Communicate with store management about upcoming events
  • Provide leadership to the team in the absence of the Supervisor
  • Intercept, engage, interact, and sell products to consumers
  • Prepare and serve food samples
  • Maintain a clean and safe work station
  • Complete all assigned tasks
  • Build and maintain rapport with store personnel
  • Complete expense reports and on-line requirements
  • Take digital photos of successful event setups

This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week. The job description does not imply that the above functions are the only tasks to be performed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in using personal computer and mobile device applications
  • Food Safety Certification may be required
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform various tasks

Working Conditions

Retail store environment with limited travel

Language Skills

English is the primary language skill, bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity
