Requirements:

  • Must have training and practical experience troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems including, but not limited to, vessels, aircraft, ground support equipment, vehicles, etc…
  • Must be proficient in reading technical manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams and in the use of testing equipment such as multi meters.
  • Must be able to relocate to Columbus, Ohio.  
  • Must have a desire to travel extensively overnights throughout the U.S.
  • Must have exceptional customer service and people skills.

Qualifications
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn automation programming, record-keeping, and sufficient in MS Office.
  • Administrative skills in report writing, updates, and tracking expenses.
  • Mechanical Aptitude
  • Electrical Aptitude
  • Able to troubleshoot using electrical schematics and assembly drawings.
  • Self-Organization and Time Management.
  • Communications – personal, phone, and e-mail.
  • A two-year technical degree or the equivalent in work experience.
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish and English) are preferred, but not required.
  • Hold or be able to obtain a valid passport.
Responsibilities

Field Service Engineer to be responsible for technical support, installation of equipment, and training customers how to use/maintain the equipment. Additional duties will include technical phone support, working with Customer Service, and assisting Engineering with R&D input and testing. Rotating intervals will also be spent working in Columbus on technical and phone support.
