Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Expertise: Develop and implement technical solutions to meet business objectives, utilizing your expertise in electrical systems, power delivery, and control systems.
  • Customer Support: Provide expert guidance and support to customers on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex electrical systems.
  • Project Management: Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and meeting customer expectations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer support, to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams through effective communication and presentation skills.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or college, or a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a support or field engineering position.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a field engineering role, including a minimum of 3 years of experience performing power systems analysis and a minimum of 1 year of experience in customer support and the development of successful customer relationships.
  • Travel: Ability and willingness to travel 60% - 80% of the time within the designated regions.
  • Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in repair troubleshooting, shop operations, and testing of assigned programs/hardware. Project management or supervisory experience, including meeting deadlines, resource, and budget handling.

Technical Experience:

  • Electrical Controls: Experience with various electrical controls (power delivery) and systems, including mid-voltage switchgear, low-voltage switchgear, power panels, and motor control centers.
  • Generators and Transformers: Experience with generators and transformers maintenance, including automatic transfer switches, electromechanical repairs, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Test Equipment and Instruments: Experience with test equipment and instruments, including relay testing and installation, instruments, PLCs, and DCS.
