We’re looking for a highly motivated Sr. Product Manager to join our growing Auto team. In this position, you will take a leadership role in supporting Telenav’s strategy in shaping the future of the connected car. You will be responsible for managing our reporting and analytics solutions that help our product team, executives, and automotive customers better understand usage of Telenav’s connected car solutions, as well as providing insights on usage, performance, and usability of our navigation assets for both mobile and in-car experiences. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify unmet needs for reporting and analytics for Telenav’s in-car navigation and beyond
  • Use of IT & software information and knowledge to manage performance of product
  • Build business cases and convince internal stakeholders to address key reporting and analytics initiatives
  • Define the vision, strategy, problems to solve, and key requirements for new and existing analytics and reporting solutions and work with PM team to create reporting standards for all products
  • Manage the roadmap for Telenav’s analytics infrastructure and collaborate with other Product Managers to ensure that necessary logging and data collection mechanisms are prioritized and deployed across our platform
  • Create detailed solution requirements and define data and reporting best practices for internal teams and customers
  • Work with Engineering, UX, Business Development, Finance, and Marketing to implement key reporting and data management projects
  • Translate raw data into analysis and present results to Product and executive team as business recommendations
  • Be the expert on data, privacy, and reporting for connected cars and mobile solutions

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • A BS in Computer Science or equivalent background
  • Strong communication skills
  • A track record of successful technology product deliveries from cradle to grave
  • A data-driven approach to product management
  • A passion for the automotive industry; auto industry experience highly desired
  • A demonstrated ability to influence cross-functionally
  • Demonstrated business acumen and analytical capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
  • Working knowledge of analytics and visualization tools like Tableau
  • Working SQL and database design knowledge is desired
  • Familiarity with the identification and resolution of issues of working with disparate sources of data and data quality issues
  • Experience working with web, mobile logs and transaction systems
  • Working experience building integrations between different products
  • Familiar with current data analytics technology and tools, and more importantly, you understand the point of it all to produce solid insights to drive business decisions
