Job Title: Technical Writer

Job Description

We are looking for both junior and senior technical writers to support our R&D Engineering team. The role involves working on design history, design control, protocol reporting, labelling, and operator's manuals. You will also update procedures and potentially develop test methods and product testing.

Responsibilities
  • Support the R&D Engineering team with design history, design control, protocol reporting, labelling, and operator's manuals.
  • Update procedures and develop test methods and product testing.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to make recommendations and ensure proper documentation.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite and PDF
  • For Sr Tech Writer: 3 years of experience in medical device or IVD (in vitro diagnostics) and a total of 5 years in technical writing
  • Understanding of medical device jargon such as GMP
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Ability to work independently and make informed recommendations
  • Strong communication skills
Work Environment

The position reports to the Sr Manager of Program Management who supports the R&D and Product Development team. Initially, you will work onsite for the first month, then move to a hybrid model until the end of the year, with the possibility of transitioning to a fully remote role once you are up-to-speed. Onsite meetings will be required as needed. The assignment is estimated to last up to one year.
