Herbein + Company, Inc., is seeking a Part Time Seasonal - Receptionist/Administrative Support Specialist to support our team during tax season. This temporary role offers part time work hours and a great opportunity to gain professional experience in a dynamic office environment.

  • Greet and welcome visitors courteously and professionally
  • Answer and direct incoming calls to appropriate team members
  • Manage mail, packages, and deliveries efficiently
  • Perform clerical tasks such as typing, scanning, and proofreading documents
  • Maintain a tidy and well-stocked reception area, kitchen, and copy room
  • Provide administrative support to firm partners, including filing, data entry, and photocopying
  • Scan documents and workpapers in appropriate order, into the appropriate network locations
  • Prepare electronic documents for Accounting staff and organize original paperwork to be returned to clients
  • Assemble tax returns and other client products
  • Coordinate the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (college students encouraged to apply)
  • Previous customer service or administrative experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work independently
  • Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills
