Responsibilities:

• Implements instructional programs, teaches adaptive living skills.

• Implements behavior interventions as directed by AWARE's Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

• Collects data, summarizes the client's progress and maintains communication with a designated treatment team.

Requirements

Talents, skills, and abilities:

• Must have the interpersonal, oral and written communications skills to work as a team member, to make observations and to report them accurately, to learn behavioral and clinical, methods, and to follow oral and written instructions and have the ability to facilitate meetings.

• The RBT must obtain required certification (Registered Behavior Technician) as follows:

• Complete within 6 months of hire.

• Complete 40 total hours of training.

• An assessment is then completed no longer than 90 days prior to sending in the application.

• RBT will be assessed by AWARE's Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) until they reach mastery level in certain areas.

• Once the 40 hours online training and the assessment (which takes place after the 40 hours) is complete, then the RBT submits the noted RBT Application.

• Once application is approved, RBT will complete and pass required test.

• RBT must maintain credential.
