AWARE delivers Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to individuals in various settings including their homes, educational institutions, and community environments. Our services also extend to residents in our adult and youth group homes, as well as behavior risk services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute instructional plans and teach essential life skills;
  • Implement behavioral interventions as instructed by AWARE's Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA);
  • Gather data, summarize client progress, and maintain communication with the designated treatment team;

AWARE's Behavioral Support Technicians earn $19.70 per hour.


Skills and Qualifications:


Successful candidates must possess strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to collaborate effectively, make accurate observations, learn behavioral and clinical techniques, and follow both oral and written instructions. Additionally, the ability to facilitate meetings is essential.

The Behavioral Support Technician must achieve the necessary certification (Registered Behavior Technician) as follows:

  • Complete within 6 months of employment;
  • Complete 40 hours of training;
  • Undergo an assessment no later than 90 days prior to submitting the application;
  • Be evaluated by AWARE's Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) until mastery is reached in specific areas;
  • After completing the 40 hours of online training and assessment, submit the RBT Application;
  • Upon application approval, pass the required examination;
  • Maintain credential status.
