Our RNs are integral in ensuring safe care and the highest quality outcomes are prioritized for every patient.Schedule: 36 hours/week guaranteed; salaried; shared on-call duties apx 10 days/monthCompensation: Pay range from $35-$45 per hour, depending on nursing and dialysis experience. $10,000 sign on bonusBenefits:* Paid 12-week training with preceptor* Comprehensive medical, dental and vision benefits* Life and long-term care insurance provided at no additional expense to employee* Paid time off (PTO) including holidays* Extended Sick Bank (ESB) in addition to PTO - paid time for doctor appointments, sickness or medical leave* Retirement plans with $.50 of each contributed dollar matched for eligible employees, up to 8 percent* Education reimbursement* Employee assistance program* Wellness program* Among othersResponsibilitiesWhat You Can Expect:* Prepare dialysis machine, its alarms, and treatment supplies and ensure quality standards are met* Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and procedures* Ongoing patient education, training and health coaching* Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physician and families* Administer and chart all prescribed medications* Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations* Participate in patient care conferences, rounds and chart reviews* Document required patient education efforts* Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals* Assist in medication inventory maintenance* Lead a small patient care team* Contribute to onboarding new staff members as directed* Additional tasks as requestedQualificationsSuccessful Candidates Bring:* Excellent communication skills* Demonstrated clinical excellence* Desire to collaborate with care teams* Ability to problem solveEducation/Training:* Accredited nursing degree required* Dialysis experience not required, job shadow opportunities available* DCI provides 3-months of comprehensive training, including classroom group sessions and one-on-one skills training* New graduates encouraged to applyDCI is committed to building a diverse and inclusive organization.
