Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work on-site with our client in Clifton, NJ. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Performs various procedural and administrative tasks to create, maintain, and protect company and government property and information.
  • Tasks may support one or more of the following areas: general security administration, clearance processing, access control, asset management, data collection, and record and report maintenance.
  • Maintain security databases, logs, files, and records and generate reports.
  • May conduct periodic inventories to verify or track assets (documents, equipment, accountable material).
  • Supports technical and non-technical security system architecture (CCTV, access control, alarms), including installation, maintenance and repair, monitoring, and administration.
  • Entry-level support individual contributor.
  • Works with close supervision on routine tasks.
  • Work consists of routine tasks.
  • Explain facts and practices related to the job area.
  • Detailed instructions are provided, and close peer review is necessary.
  • Communicates with contacts typically within the team on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation to understand and reach an agreement.
  • Work consists of routine tasks.
  • Work is structured within identified boundaries and procedures.
  • Follows established processes to complete tasks.
  • Escalates issues to supervisor for resolution.
  • Works to achieve operational targets within the job area, which has minimal impact on the overall achievement of team results.
  • Work is of limited scope, typically on more minor, routine task-related activities.

Pay: $27/hr.

Hours: 40 hours/week (1st Shift).

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Computer Applications.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree.
  • Experience with Security Document Control/Visitor Control.
  • Communication skills - talking with customers and employees.
  • Being able to learn daily tasks.
  • Quick learner and Independent.
  • Dependable.
  • Ability to prioritize.
  • Security office skills/working for a defense company.
  • Working with security software like SIMS and DISS.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • Active Secret DoD Clearance.
