: Constituent relations, donor stewardship, fundraising and communications:Take the lead as first line for donor inquires and faculty/staff requests for the SHSSW Development office, displaying an attitude of service with all constituents.Suggest, create and implement strategic and thoughtful donor stewardship programs that will convey appreciation for our donors generosity and show the impact of their philanthropy.Compose and prepare donor-centered correspondence, including thoughtful gift acknowledgement letters and emails. Assist with preparing reports, meeting agendas, contact reports for events, and follow-up materials as requested.Manage our annual Student Thank You letters project, including partnering with Executive Director on presentations to student scholarship recipients, working with our scholarship coordinator to obtain lists of scholarship recipients and then working with student Graduate Assistant to encourage participation, edit letters, put letters in template form, monitor participation of recipients, and then mail out packets to donors each November.Act as a liaison to the Texas Development Annual Giving program, assuming a lead role in annual giving projects such as Forty Hours for the 40 Acres and Thanks Day, as well as conceptualizing, planning and administering 1-2 internal School of Social Work fundraising campaigns per year.With Executive Director, lead our Philanthropy Education Program student group, including managing membership applications, planning in-services and activities, monitoring progress of their projects and facilitating payment of their scholarships at the end of the academic year.Work with Executive Director and Director of Marketing and Communications by monitoring and assisting with updates for the SHSSW website as it pertains to development and constituent relations.Event planning and logistics:In consultation with the development team, lead the planning and management of donor and prospect engagement and stewardship events, such as the annual endowment donor appreciation event, salon dinners, donor meetings with scholarship recipients, Texas Development capital campaign activities as well as work with the SHSSW Office of Professional Development to plan events related to endowed-funded guest lectures.Assist with Advisory Council activities including facilitating communications, coordinating bi-annual meetings and supporting any events held for/by advisory council members.Arrange meetings, contact proposed attendees, prepare handouts, and all other necessary logistical details.Donor research and management:Maintain current donor information in the VIP system and provide administrative support to the Executive Director for donor-related tasks.Research and identify prospective donors, and work with the Executive Director to set initial meetings.In consultation with Executive Director, design and implement systems based on data and analytics for maintaining detailed internal records, soliciting alumni and donors, and for communicating with external constituents.Financial and administrative tasks:Process charitable donations and pledges to the school in an accurate and timely fashion.Provide administrative support to the Executive Director to include calendar scheduling, travel planning, briefing reports and expense reimbursements when necessary.Assume responsibility for essential office management functions such as ordering collateral material, facilitating payments to external vendors, and organization/tracking of invoices.Work with our university Endowment Services Team to establish and adhere to endowment compliance processes and work in collaboration with other areas to ensure endowment compliance requirements are met.Coordinate annual Faculty Letters project for faculty members who hold endowed faculty positions, including contacting faculty members for annual letters, monitoring participation, editing when necessary, mailing letters and reporting to Endowment Services Team to e sure compliance with university policies.Train student Graduate Assistants on tasks to support the Development Team and delegate and oversee their assignments.Other duties as assigned.
