Type of Role: 12 Month Contact (Likely to be extended)

Schedule: 1st Shift, rotating shift every 3-4 months. (10-12 hours OT roughly)

Compensation: $60.00-$70.00/HR

Description: The Controls Engineer will be providing electrical support, controls engineering, and continuous improvement of production processes. The engineer will lead efforts in controls modifications, collaborate with maintenance and technical teams, and manage expenditures for equipment and processes. Key responsibilities include leading throughput improvement initiatives, designing tests for process enhancement, and ensuring adherence to safety standards. The position requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, along with 3+ years of controls experience, particularly with Rockwell, Siemens, and Fanuc robots.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for controls engineering & electrical support, controls modifications and continuous improvement of production processes
  • Provide technical support and direction to maintenance and other technical employees within the organization; maintain regular contact with partners outside of direct work group
  • Evaluate or monitor expenditures for processes and/or equipment
  • Lead activities related to TIP (Throughput Improvement Process)
  • Design Tests to efficiently find opportunities for design improvements
  • Stay on top of industry trends, technologies, and standard methodologies
  • Identify and document system vulnerabilities and craft mitigation action plans; track corrective actions
  • Enforces safe work practices as the highest priority
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical Engineer OR similar
  • 3+ years of Controls experience
  • Rockwell & Siemens experience
  • Fanuc robots experience
