Description The Respiratory Therapist provides services to patients in the NICU/PICU as prescribed by Physicians/NNPs in conjunction with established policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines. She/He is responsible for the assessing the patient's respiratory status and recommending appropriate therapies. She/He implements therapies and evaluates patient response to therapeutic interventions. The Respiratory Therapist accepts and promotes professional development as an integral part of practice. She/He will assess, analyze, customize, coordinate and communicate the patient's plan of care and actively collaborate with other members of the health care team. We are hiring for Respiratory Care Practitioner positions in the Respiratory Therapy department at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK Full time, 0.9 FTE, Variable shift, 36 hours per week. Apply today Applicants that meet qualifications will receive an invite with additional screening questions from our HireVue system Required Qualifications: Upon hire: National Registered Respiratory Therapist - National Board for Respiratory Care Or Upon hire: National Certified Respiratory Therapist - National Board for Respiratory Care Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Within 90 days of hire National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association 5 years Experience in pediatrics respiratory therapy.
