Overview

Symbria Rx Services is seeking a Third Party Audit Specialist to add to our growing team.

The Third Party Audit Specialist is responsible for timely and accurate completion of third-party audits.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for completion of third-party audits:

  • Serve as primary point of contact for third party payors;
  • Research and procure appropriate documentation requested in audit;
  • Collaborate with client, as necessary to obtain adequate and accurate documentation;
  • Ascertain timely response to all audit requests; and track and report audit results to Management on a timely basis.

• Responsible for rebilling any claims necessary because of audit procedures.• Assist in verification of Medicaid eligibility, as requested.• Assist with weekly and monthly unit dose composite claims, as requested.• Assist in billing efforts, as requested.• Assist with hospice billing, as requested.• Any and all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.• Long-term care pharmacy billing experience, minimum two (2) years.• Knowledge of billing software, electronic billing, and electronic medical records.• Strong organizational and follow-up skills with clear ability to adhere to deadlines.• Detail oriented with effective time management skills.

• Software skills:

  • Experience with billing and accounting software for managing accounts, processing payments, and reconciling reports; and Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products.
