We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a PRN HR Coordinator in our business office in Franklin.

This is a part-time position, without benefits. We expect 20-35 hours per week with potential to work 40 hours if needed. This position will likely progress to full-time with benefits as the caseload increases. 

Job Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:

  • Take charge of heavy administrative responsibilities to the HR department, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
  • Streamline and automate outdated processes to improve operational efficiency
  • Scan and organize documents for new hires and maintain digital personnel files

High-Volume Onboarding and Support:

  • Manage high-volume onboarding and provide comprehensive support to clinic locations, ensuring smooth integration and ongoing assistance
  • Provide timely updates to candidates and managers regarding next steps in the hiring process
  • Answer questions and triage calls/emails from candidates and managers as necessary

Candidate Tracking:

  • Track the status of candidates in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and respond with follow-up correspondence for timely submissions
  • Utilize Excel spreadsheets to keep track of open positions and complete next steps for pre-employment and onboarding activities

Recruitment Assistance:

  • Assist with the recruitment process by initiating background checks and coordinating related tasks
  • Support the pre-employment and new hire onboarding process for business operations and clinic locations

I-9 Verification:

  • Verify I-9 documentation for new hires and maintain accurate I-9 files in compliance with regulatory requirements

Employee Status Changes and Terminations:

  • Assist with the process of employee status changes, ensuring accurate and timely updates
  • Complete Personnel Action Change forms and ensure they are submitted according to appropriate payroll deadlines
  • Handle termination paperwork and associated tasks with sensitivity and adherence to company policies

Other Duties:

  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall effectiveness of the HR department and organization

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in human resources, business, or a related field
  • 2+ years of human resources coordination or administration preferred
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and recruitment processes
  • Healthcare recruitment of clinical positions preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
