Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to oversee the Bin Rooms and Auctions at our retail location. In this role, you will drive superior customer service, meet sales targets, and lead a motivated team. Your primary responsibilities include maintaining a positive work environment, ensuring inventory management, and upholding a clean and safe store. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, you will coordinate and execute departmental functions to achieve operational excellence.

Compensation: $45,000.00 per year.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:
  • Recruit, train, and supervise a team of employees, ensuring clarity in roles and responsibilities.
  • Set performance expectations and provide regular feedback to foster team development and motivation.
  • Develop schedules and assign tasks to ensure adequate staffing levels and efficient operations.
  • Create and maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and excellent customer service.
Sales and Customer Service:
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet and exceed sales targets and drive profitability.
  • Monitor sales performance and analyze trends to identify areas for improvement.
  • Utilize effective merchandising and marketing techniques to boost sales and attract customers.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and address customer complaints promptly and satisfactorily.
Inventory and Stock Management:
  • Oversee inventory levels and ordering processes to ensure stock availability and accuracy.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and coordinate with the Distribution Center for product replenishment.
  • Implement loss prevention measures to minimize theft and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Store Operations:
  • Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards throughout the store.
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure operational consistency.
  • Oversee cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy in register operations and financial transactions.
Financial Management:
  • Prepare and manage the store budget, including sales projections and expense control.
  • Analyze financial reports to identify variances and take corrective actions to optimize profitability.
  • Implement effective cost management strategies to enhance store profitability.
Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service abilities.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Thorough understanding of merchandising, sales, and promotional methods.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail management.
  • Demonstrated strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting up to 15 pounds as needed.
