What You Will Do As a Commissioning Engineer at Prime Controls, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful start-up and commissioning of systems for new and existing facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring the system is ready for startup and resolving problems during startup. Your expertise will contribute to detecting risks, suggesting solutions, and ensuring compliance with national standards and project requirements. A Typical Day at Prime Controls Review engineering design documents to verify compliance with requirements. Perform I/O and functional testing. Support technicians by assisting in the troubleshooting of field devices. Troubleshoot PLC code and HMI screens and make fixes as appropriate. Make system changes as requested by the customer. Configure and troubleshoot network equipment. Support the startup of the system. Train the customer's employees on their systems.
