Description: Essential Functions: • Provide support and troubleshooting services to a fleet of laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other related peripherals both on-premises and remotely • Answer and resolve support cases promptly with emphasis on strong customer service • Install and configure software and applications for workstation distribution • Assist in the provisioning and maintenance of user accounts, email, group membership, drive mappings, and peripherals • Assist subject matter experts with software upgrades, networking, and security team activities and management to identify issues, research solutions, and escalate issues to the appropriate resources within the team • Assist in the documentation, periodic review, and maintenance of departmental Standard Operating Procedures • Perform imaging, repairs, and maintenance of desktops and mobile workstations • Asset management and distribution, including packaging, moving, shipping, and reception of computers, servers, and any other IT hardware • Schedule and monitor warranty repair through equipment vendors and shipping companies • Maintain and monitor equipment stock and inventory. • Perform other duties as assigned Required Skills/Experience: • High school or equivalent • 2 years experience in the field or career • Experience supporting Windows Desktop Operating Systems (Windows 10) • Proficient in supporting desktop, laptop, and mobile hardware IT support • Basic networking knowledge, including DNS and DHCP • Excellent attention to detail, especially with communication (written and verbal) and meeting deadlines • Proficient with Office software suite • Experience in a fast-paced environment • Ability to prioritize tasks that change frequently and manage unexpected demands • Dependable, follows instructions, and takes initiative to solve problems Preferred Skills/Experience: • CompTIA A+ Certification (Or other certifications in this field) • 1 year in customer service Competencies: • Adaptability – adapt to changing business and technical requirements • Application and use of Technology - Using computers, the Internet, and other technology to increase the quantity and/or quality of work • Teamwork and Cooperation - Readily sharing information and knowledge as well as acting cooperatively with the team • Giving and receiving information effectively in writing, orally and non-verbally such as but not limited to chat and email format • Initiative. - Active attempts to influence events and achieve goals; self-starting rather than passive acceptance. Taking action to achieve goals beyond what is necessarily called for.
