**Summary**

The Logistics Route Driver will move Kegs, beer, and other merchandise from one location to another. Order pulling, use of software Orchestrated Beer, and general warehouse and facility organization are other essential tasks.

**Essential Job Functions**

* Plans and completes an efficient delivery and pick up route for the day.

* Loads delivery vehicle with beer and merchandise scheduled for delivery.

* Delivers beer and merchandise to correct addresses, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt when necessary.

* Picks up kegs, beer and merchandise along the scheduled route, including items to be returned, company orders, and other items as requested.

* Maintains basic records of truck mileage, vehicle readiness, and deliveries made.

* Ensures that delivery vehicle receives basic service according to maintenance schedule; reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor.

* Assists in general warehouse duties when delivery route is completed.

* Performs other related duties as assigned.

* Must be able to load and unload packages with and without dollies in various types of weather.

* Transfer materials and equipment between multiple tap rooms, as needed.

* Drive forklift.

* Assist in packaging operations on a fill in basis.

**Computer Skills**

* Familiar with MS Windows operating systems and MS Office applications. At minimum, intermediate level skills with Excel and Word.

* Ability to read and effectively interpret documents and manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate with customers or employees.

**Mathematical Skills**

* Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.

**Reasoning Ability**

* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

**Supervisory Responsibility**

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

**Work Environment** This job operates indoors/outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperatures.

**Physical Demands**

The position will occasionally be required to work in the warehouse environment to facilitate shipment activities and assist with warehouse functions. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

* Must be able to lift 50 lbs. as required.

* Must be able to maneuver 165 lb. kegs safely.

* Must travel up and down 45 steps as required.

* Must be able to use both hands and arms in full range of motion.

* Must have good hand and eye coordination skills.

* Must be able to work around moving equipment and hazardous chemicals.

* Must be able to speak, hear and smell.

* The employee is consistently required to walk, balance and stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must always be able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and consistently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Employee must be able to work consistently in a sitting position for long periods of time of up to 8+ hours.

* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

**Position Type/Expected Hours of Work**

* Full time regular position with flexibility in hours and shifts according to the operational business needs. Day, evening and weekend work will be required as job duties demand.

**Travel**

* This position requires 100% travel.

**Preferred Education and/or Experience**

* High School Diploma or equivalent.

**Additional Skills and Eligibility Qualifications**

* Ability to drive safely.

* Ability to maintain a clean driving record.

* Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps.

* Ability to plan delivery routes.

* Ability to maintain basic logs and records.

* Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision.

* Able to remain professional and courteous at all times.

* Pass pre-employment physical and Drug Screening and online assessment.

* Complete and maintain 2-year recurrent Co. Harassment Training.

* Valid CA drivers license.

* Clean Driver Vehicle Report from DMV.

* Vaccination Status
