Reporting to position: Vice President, Marketing & Ecommerce Travel: Limited travel: Member visits, conferences About the Role: This position is a key role in the Marketing & Ecommerce division at Do it Best. Our mission in the division is to help members grow and achieve their dreams by providing support in marketing that will drive sales at retail and/or free up members’ time. The successful candidate will embody the servant-led culture of Do it Best. He or she will have experience and/or aptitude in evaluating marketing from both an analytical and creative perspective. He or she will have strong business acumen and be an effective driver of change and innovation. A strong understanding of members and our end consumers will be crucial to this role. The Director of Marketing will focus on three main areas: Marketing program development and execution: Create a data-based reporting and analysis methodology for evaluating new and existing marketing programs and optimizing them to drive sales. Set up the analytical infrastructure for the methodology. Incorporate knowledge of operations at our members' stores with trend analysis as an additional layer to program evaluation. Marketing sales : Utilize sales and customer behavior data to recommend Do it Best programs to members and monitor sales results. Lead a team to achieve annual marketing programs and sales goals. Events and Member Education : Support our twice-annual member markets with events that will enrich our members’ experience. Also, develop and execute member training courses throughout the year based on a thorough understanding of member opportunities and interests. If you have any prior experience working in any of the following positions, we strongly encourage you to apply: Director of Marketing Analytics , VP of Marketing, VP of Merchandising, Director of Merchandising Responsibilities include: Lead and develop a team with a servant-leadership philosophy.
