Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hardware management, datacenter operations, and an understanding and application of systems engineering and configuration management principals. The candidate must be able to work independently and represent the program and meetings and working groups with government and associate contractors. Enterprise server and storage hardware and operating systems include, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain the organization's hardware infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, and network devices.
  • Perform regular hardware maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and support projects
  • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement necessary optimizations.
  • Ensure datacenter security and compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users and internal teams.
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and future reference.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends related to system administration and datacenter management
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is desired.
  • Five (5) years of detailed technical experience in system engineering or related field within the last seven (7) years
  • Proven work experience as a System Admin and Datacenter Engineer
