The position will direct and support the sales efforts of our client’s dealers. The Sales Manager is responsible for building, monitoring, and maintaining high performing sales teams while carrying out our client’s sales and marketing initiatives to meet company objectives.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

  • Communicate mission, vision and expectations to dealer principals and sales representatives.
  • Monitor and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals for assigned dealer groups.
  • Monitor and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual product class specific sales goals.
  • Maintain regular communication with dealers and sales reps using telephone, email, and co-travel.
  • Onboard new sales reps in your territory and support continuous education.
  • Assess rep abilities and provide coaching to develop skills which build confidence and grow sales.
  • Co-sell to existing customers and prospects in order to promote and sell Our client’s products.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews for dealers.
  • Develop and execute a quarterly business plan to achieve company goals for assigned dealer groups.
  • Maintain dealer pipelines for key opportunities.
  • Establish and expand relationships with key OR, SPD and MM personnel in support of sales.
  • Develop KOLs who can influence important decision makers.
  • Monitor and report dealer changes or competitive activity to National Sales Manager.
  • Develop and implement guidelines to improve dealer or sales rep performance.
  • Support assigned dealer groups with onsite field travel to create opportunities and close key deals.
  • Ability to adjust custom tray solutions for dealer opportunities.
  • Respond to dealer and customer needs or concerns in accordance with company policy.
  • Maintain a level of expertise in the Surgical Instrument and Sterile Processing markets.
  • Provide required reporting and necessary communications on a timely basis.
  • Attend clinical meetings, seminars, and conferences as appropriate.
  • Backorder log management to inform reps of orders received vs. orders not received.
  • Review monthly commissions for assigned dealer groups.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience in healthcare
  • Three (3) years’ experience of business-to-business selling in Medical Device.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales plans
  • Excellent analytical, Surgical Instrument background or O.R., SPD experience strongly
