RESPONSIBILITIES: The Senior Finance Analyst, Accounting Operations performs the transactional processing functions including cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, order management, and T&E. Ensures the accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of transactional processing data. This position reports to the Associate Director, Accounting Operations and Financial Systems.

Responsible for preparing the accounting operations monthly close including journal entries, account reconciliations and variance analysis for accounts including cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and T&E.

Perform daily cash clearing and prepare daily cash balances.

Assist with the quarterly budgeting and forecasting process for cash.

Monitor the corporate card program.

Perform responsibilities in compliance with US GAAP and provide support for SOX testing and the annual audit process.

Assist with ad-hoc projects supporting the broader Finance team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 3 years corporate finance and/or public auditing experience.

BA/BS business/accounting/finance or other applicable business discipline.

CPA with public accounting experience preferred with a Big 4 accounting firm.

Strong understanding of US GAAP, SOX 404 compliance and internal controls.

Expert proficiency with excel.

Life Sciences a plus.
