Additionally, they will be the primary person in charge of working with our backup systems and coordinating with our IT Security team for DR planning and testing.Hybrid Work: After an initial training period, this will be a hybrid position, due to the need to be in reasonable proximity to our main datacenter and headquarters.Essential Functions: Researches appropriate hardware and hypervisors for our different datacenter and sites. Optimizes the Brakebush datacenters and sites, keeping all hardware and hypervisors up to date with firmware and patching as appropriate. Ensures clear and consistent communication through documentation of work instruction, configuration, and all Data Center related information. Troubleshoots a wide range of Data Center issues evidenced through monitoring or tickets; provides thoroughness in incident response, resolution, and extended monitoring to include new information. Work to build automation into environments through scripting and other means. Communicates and collaborates with multiple IT teams. Responsible for maintaining and optimizing backup and coordinating and testing DR scenarios with IT Security Verifies and monitors proper power and cooling levels in our data centers and sites as well as working with our Facilities team and the Server/Data Center Team Supervisor to make changes as appropriate. Required Qualifications: Bachelors

Degree in Information Technology or related field and three plus years of Data Center Engineering experience in a manufacturing setting or five plus years of Server Engineering experience in a manufacturing setting. Competent with hypervisors and backup software. Able to apply Project Management principles to organize and coordinate work within schedule constraints and handle emergent requirements in a timely manner. Proficient in both oral and written communication. Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience working in the food industry Experience with Rubrik Experience using VMWare Experience with Server and SAN Hardware Experience with Linux and Powershell Creating Data Center automation Supervisory Responsibility: NoneWork Environment: The work environment is an office environment in a cubicle with standard temperatures and normal office noise levels. Additionally, there will be a need to work in a Data Center Environment with standard temperatures and higher noise levels. Work can be completed from home as well when appropriate.Physical Demands: The physical demands of this job including bending, sitting for long stretches, lifting, wearing factory-required equipment while in production, driving, walking around in a production plant environment, and safe climbing of ladders.Travel: This position is based out of the Westfield facility but can travel up to 15% of the time depending on the needs of the business during the year.
