Working under the direction of Generalist Portfolio Managers, this position will provide analytical and research support to the Generalist Portfolio Managers and the Co-CIOs of the Fixed Income group at TCW.
Essential Duties
- Provide support to the generalist portfolio management team
- Ad hoc and recurring research projects and analytical work as directed
- Portfolio monitoring and reporting
- Write commentary, reports, responses, summaries, etc.
- At least 3-7 years of experience as an analyst on Wall Street, an investment banking/sales trading associate, or an analyst within a Fixed Income investment team
- Strong understanding of economics, economic data, and financial markets
- Solid knowledge of fixed income markets, fixed income instruments and analytics
- Excellent financial, mathematical and statistical skills
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or related field with demonstrated academic achievement;
- CFA designation or progress towards obtaining one is preferred
- Strong writing and communication skills; able to work with individuals at all levels within the organization
- Excellent work ethic
Estimated Compensation:
Base Salary: For CA based position, the base salary range is $150k - $175k . This is an anticipated range only.
Other Compensation: Eligible to be considered for an annual discretionary bonus
