Job DescriptionTitle: Contracts SpecialistLocation: Phoenix, AZ, 85007Duration: 12 monthsClient: State of ArizonaRequisition ID: 731Job DescriptionManages post-award activities for contracts and grants, including intergovernmental and interagency agreements. Ensures Division's strategic goals by contributing to Standard Work development. Authorizes payments, amends contracts/grants, reviews budgets, monitors compliance, conducts sub-recipient risk assessments, and prepares reports. Builds relationships with agencies and partners. Administers contracts, provides training, coordinates monitoring, and maintains critical documentation. Coordinates with procurement office, processes amendments, invoices, and conducts compliance reviews. Manages statewide contracting and grant efforts, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. Initiates/reviews documents, prepares Corrective Improvement Plans, and participates in Division Standard Work. Other duties as assigned (typically 5% - 10%).Skills Required1 year of contract management experience which includes preparing professional level documents and analyzing numerical/financial data; OR 3 years of contract management experience which includes preparing professional level documents and analyzing numerical/financial data.Experience RequiredPrefer a bachelor's degree in business or public administration, management, finance or other related fieldEducation RequiredHigh School Diploma#J-18808-Ljbffr
