Currently, we are seeking a Design Project Manager to become a part of the HIROTEC team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Design Project Manager will be responsible for reviewing project proposals to determine time frames, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, and allotment of available resources to various phases of projects.

The individual will be the primary customer contact and have technical expertise for overall project management of the design. Throughout the life of project, the candidate will outline work plans to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.

The individual will confer with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems regarding design. Attend design review meetings with customers. Maintain project timeline and budget. Maintain Job Log on tooling changes and documentation of changes made by the customer on project. Attend and document all Standard Component Buy-Offs.

Requirements

The position requirements include a Bachelor's degree and/or minimum ten years design experience specializing in automotive Body In White automotive processing and tooling. Knowledge in blueprint reading skills, manual design and cad design on several systems (UG, AutoCAD, IDEAS, CATIA) along with leadership skills. Strong knowledge of Automotive Industry (closures/BIW - OEM preferred), strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Products) and technical aptitude with problem solving skills. Exceptional interpersonal/ communication skills, and must possess strong organizational skills, teamwork and leadership skills.
