Come see how to Be Better at SEA, Ltd.Virtual Tour of our Facility: Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:Investigate residential, commercial and industrial fires that may involve fire protection or life safety systems including water-based fire sprinkler systems (wet, dry and pre-action) commercial kitchen fire protection and exhaust systems, special hazard fire suppression systems (gaseous, chemical and foam systems), fire detection and alarm systems and residential smoke alarmsConduct field investigations and perform forensic engineering & failure/accident analysis on incidents involving various fire protection systemsConduct post-accident evaluations involving fire-spread and means of egressConsult with clients regarding applicable building and life safety codesConduct unbiased investigations for various clientsResponsible for retention and development of client relationshipsProvide technical findings and conclusions in layman's terms, both verbally and in written reportsSupport conclusions by appropriate testimony in legal proceedingsDeliver professional presentations, develop client relationships and promote self to client groupsMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societiesPosition RequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering required; Master's degree in Fire Protection Engineering preferred P.
