About Olfactory NYCOlfactory NYC offers a unique, bespoke experience in personal scent creation - allowing guests to combine fine fragrance with their individuality We partner with world-renowned perfumers and use the highest quality oils to create one-of-a-kind fragrances that are as unique as each one of us. What You'll DoAs an Olfactory NYC scent-tologist, you will be responsible for engaging with customers, blending fragrances (Dont worry Well train you), sales floor operations and being a brand ambassador at off-site events. Your duties will include (but are not limited to):
Welcoming guests into the space and encouraging them to explore and partake in the experience
Sharing the brand story and product knowledge
Guiding customers through the scent customization and blending process of the OlfactoryNYC fragrances
Supporting day-to-day sales floor operations including processing POS transactions accurately, packaging and wrapping guest orders, helping direct traffic flow, blending custom fragrances and more
Fulfilling e-commerce orders
Embodying the brands voice and vision in all communication to foster strong client relationships
Ensuring supplies remained stocked and refilled
What Were Looking For

Excellent communication skills
Organized and possess a keen attention to detail
Proactive, creative, and self-motivated
Eager to learn new things
Experience with Social Media platforms preferred
Interest/ prior experience in fragrance and/or beauty preferred
Ability to work flexible shifts - including weekends and holidays
Compensation and Perks
Base pay: $16-$18 per hour (commensurate with experience)
Customer tips: After an initial 10-20 day training/ apprenticeship period, each Scent-ologist will be eligible to earn customer tips (*Typically this increases an employee's base pay to $22-25/hour on average, however tips are not guaranteed.)
