About the Role Ring Concierge is a rapidly growing, female-founded fine jewelry company, specializing in custom engagement rings and fine jewelry. We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join our team The ideal candidate should have a passion for product and craftsmanship. This position will be responsible for conducting inspections on incoming production and actively contribute to enhancing overall quality by efficiently identifying underlying causes of issues and working closely with Product Development to resolve. Responsibilities:Be the quality expert in the Dallas, Texas fulfillment center. Oversee all incoming inspections & ensure all products meet Ring Concierge's standards. Evaluate diamonds, colored stones, and pearls to ensure that quality is accurate. Raise quality concerns as soon as possible and communicate defects to the Product Development team. Inspect on hand inventory as quality concerns arise as needed. Review and validate quality inspection submissions from suppliers along with product details decks for all inbound shipments.Document internal and external inspection results and enter data into the company database.Identify manufacturing defect trends; work with Product Development team recommending solutions and product improvements.Assess, report, and document supplier production and quality issues.Work closely with the Product Development team to understand and resolve technical challenges.Participate in virtual product quality reviews with cross functional partners. Prepare monthly defect analysis reports that identify root causes.Proactively seek and deliver process improvements to improve department efficiency and accuracy.Establish quality requirements in partnership with Product Development and inspection standards for all jewelry.About YouA trusted, collaborative, and detail-oriented self-starter.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information in a clear and composed manner.Embraces and manages change with a positive attitude.Requirements Bachelor's Degree GIA certification is requiredA minimum of 6-8 years of relevant experience in quality assurance, jewelry inspection, and repair is required. Experience and understanding of jewelry manufacturing processes, testing, and supply chain operations is required. Knowledge of diamonds, gemstone, gold, platinum, and silver is required. Analytical and root cause analysis skills are required. Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Suite is required. Energy, confidence, self-motivation.Excellent communication, organizational and multitasking skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced setting under tight deadlines with strong project and time management skills.Comfortable working both autonomously and collaboratively with a team.Eager to take on new challenges, introduce and implement new approaches and ideas, grow, test and learn.E-commerce background is an asset.Must be able to work in an entrepreneurial environment and be a self-starterDetailsFull-time role located in Dallas, Texas area 5 days in-office Office Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with the knowledge that we have a startup culture and your day may extend past listed office hours. 401k with employer match programWe offer generous employee discounts on our fine jewelryPaid time off, including an extra allowance of 3 days annually for religious observances
