Primary Responsibilities: Manage ACH staffing model to support the daily and evening ACH activities, consisting of file monitoring, job scheduling, file distribution, and endpoint settlement of ACH transactions Oversee the prioritization of daily payment processes Own the business aspects of the ACH processing application including understanding all features and functionality of the software Monitor compliance with Nacha rules and communicate rule changes to impacted parties Develop, monitor, and report key operational metrics Oversee appropriate access rights to payment systems Drive resolution of outstanding returned payment transactions Work with Originators and finance department in forecasting funds transfer volumes and related resource requirements Compile and provide documentation to support independent reviews, audits and Bank examinations.Oversee the ACH disaster recovery processes. This includes updating documented procedures, planning, testing, and ensuring staff readiness Relationships with Payment Originators including: Train Payment Originators on their ACH responsibilities Develop solid relationships with Payment Originators and respond to ongoing Nacha rules questions Oversee the communication of ACH Returns and Notifications of Change (NOCs) to Payment Originators and ensure timely resolution Leading, managing, or participating in various projects including: Serve as an ACH subject matter expert and the Business owner of ACH processing software Identify and implement automation strategies to eliminate manual processes and improve service quality Enhance and maintain the documentation of policies and procedures related to daily operations Work with information technology resources on application improvements and daily maintenance of ACH processing software Competencies: Solid understanding of Nacha rules Solid team management skills Sound business and financial acumen Excellent communication, analytical, presentation and interpersonal skills Solid organizational skills - able to manage critical processing timelines and prioritize effectively Ability to navigate dynamic environment with changing priorities Adept at learning new concepts and applying principles and best practices into problem-solving approach You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience working at a financial institution; or an equivalent combination of treasury and cash management experience and training Solid Microsoft Office proficiency including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Available for on-call support outside regular business hours Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree Accredited ACH Professional (AAP), Accredited Payments Risk Professional (APRP) or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designations Experience working with a commercial ACH payment processing software Database experience (i.e., SQL) *All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $88,000 to $173,200 annually.
