Living Innovations provides support to people with disabilities to have a good life at home and in the community. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide essential support to our team. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth office operations and positive interactions with staff, clients, and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Communication/Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service (phone/in-person), maintain confidentiality, and communicate professionally with all stakeholders. Manage calls/messages.
- Office Operations: Manage supplies, equipment, and inventory. Maintain clean and organized office spaces. Prepare for meetings. Assist with newsletters (if applicable), faxing, scanning, and copying. Participate in safety procedures and the Safety Committee.
- Payroll/Billing Support (if applicable): Assist with background/reference checks, electronic file maintenance, and onboarding. Maintain individual documentation (scanning, filing, rep-payee) as required in Maine. Assist with payroll/billing documentation, Proof of Income letters, and uploading new Home Providers.

Qualifications:
- A patient, caring, and positive attitude.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to provide customer service in and upbeat and cheerful manor.
- Prior experience using Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
- Valid state issued driver's license, current vehicle insurance declaration and vehicle registration.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- The ability to pass comprehensive background checks per state and company regulations/policies
