Job Description
This position involves providing essential administrative support to the Quality Engineering department, ensuring effective exchange of data and information with both internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
- Initiate document requests internally to support quality activities
- Assist Quality Engineering with administrative tasks
- Develop customer submittal of documents
- Maintain quality records
- Compile records for customer review
- Make internal distribution of customer documents as required
- Transmit documents to customers
- Maintain record storage
- Maintain records library
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with ERP systems (preferably EPICOR)
- Two to three years of administrative experience in a business environment
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Excellent computer skills
- Experience within a quality department is a plus
- Associate degree in Business or related discipline preferred, but High School diploma with relevant professional experience is acceptable
- Ability to work collaboratively with others
The work environment includes a cubicle area shared with a team, which is not too noisy. The role may require occasional visits to the manufacturing facility's production floor. The schedule is Monday to Friday, with either five 8-hour days (8:00-4:30) or four 9-hour days and a 4-hour day (8:00-5:30 M-Th, 8:00-12:00 Fri). The dress code is business casual (jeans are acceptable, but no sneakers). PPE, including safety shoes, will be provided when needed on the production floor.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00
