The Prep Cook is a seasonal position. We are looking for someone passionate about the culinary arts to join our Culinary team. This individual must be creative, motivated, and passionate about growing their talents in the kitchen

Qualifications

  • Prepare and portion fresh ingredients
  • Control food usage to minimize waste
  • Great technique with strong knife skills
  • Kitchen savvy, know your weights, measurements and volumes
  • Attention to detail following all steps and techniques to ensure consistency
  • Tidy and clean, maintain a sanitary, food-safe workstation
  • Team player willing to work together to prep our kitchens
  • Advise supervisor of low inventory and assist with receiving items and taking inventory, as required
  • Restock items as needed
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods of time, able to lift up to 50 pounds and continuously bend, reach and twist
  • Moving around the kitchen in a safe and efficient manner
  • Handling food, objects, products and utensils
  • Bending, stooping, kneeling
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Must be US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, or have Work Authorization. Position is not eligible for H2B, J1, or other similar visa.

Compensation Range

The compensation for this position is $21.00/Yr. - $21.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
