Position Details: Location: United States of America (Preferably based in East Coast, USA) Reporting to: VP Sales, Purolite Global Bioprocessing What You Will Do: Assume direct responsibility of Sales and financial objectives related to sales in America region Deliver outsized business growth and market share increase Evaluate and understand the value proposition for each customer segment Formulate growth strategies for the region, especially in United States Create and implement sales and marketing initiatives to achieve short-term and mid- to long-term financial targets Develop new, innovative ideas that will stretch the organization and push the boundaries within the industry Create realistic goals and implementation plans that are achievable and successful Organize and coordinate all business activities in the region, leverage the breadth and depth of the company’s products and solutions portfolio to create a total value proposition to customers Develop and solidify executive relationship with C-suite at key customers and strategic partners Collaborate extensively within the organization and outside with the customers Ensure regular reporting, feedback mechanism and CRM usage Build a high performing sales organization; hire, develop and retain top talent Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Biology or Chemistry, or related field 5 years experience in Downstream Bioprocessing Chromatography, Single Use Technologies, and/or filtration or Analytical chromatography experience, or 8 years in a closely adjacent offering in America’s region In-depth knowledge of the Customers, and relationships with Key Customers, in the field of Downstream Bioprocessing Chromatography Experience selling within the life sciences setting in the field of Biopharma Downstream Bioprocessing Preferred Qualifications: MS and/or MBA Solid commercial leader with strong track record of sales results delivery Demonstrated self-starter with a bias for action who can operate at both strategic and operational levels Highly agile and adaptable in styles and approaches depending on situations Effective communicator and listener; Able to inspire the team and create followship Proven track record of building high performing organizations and delivering superior business results Ability to set clear and challenging goals while committing the organization to improved performance; tenacious and accountable in driving results Comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty; able to adapt nimbly and lead others through complex situations Ability to recruit, engage, develop and retain top talent Demonstrated perseverance in the face of challenges and relentless commitment to higher standards Confident and decisive with a willingness to take calculated risks in leading the organization to pursue commercial excellence Holistic and innovative thinking, and professional judgment that leads to results Fosters an inclusive team environment, modeling inclusive leadership behaviors and high integrity About Purolite Purolite, an Ecolab Company, is a world leader in resin-based separation, purification, and extraction technology.
