As a Security Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our facility. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting patients, visitors, and staff while enforcing hospital policies to maintain a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting patients, visitors, and staff, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience within the facility.
2. Maintain a visible presence in assigned areas to offer information and guidance to all individuals accessing the premises.
3. Respond promptly and courteously to requests for assistance, ensuring a supportive atmosphere at all times.
4. Facilitate physical assistance, including wheelchair transport and escort services, to enhance accessibility for all.
5. Monitor traffic flow in parking areas, assist disabled vehicles, and enforce parking regulations to ensure safety.
6. Protect property and individuals by preventing accidents, theft, and vandalism, adhering to established policies and procedures.
7. Conduct routine rounds to maintain visibility and ensure the security of the facility.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Certification in HeartSaver First Aid within 60 days of hire
- Successful completion of background checks as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a security role is advantageous.
