About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking Lead Data Management Analyst for Cloud Customer Engagement and Solutions (CCES) within Data Management & Insight (DMI). This position will be leading on Prem asset data migration assessment in preparation for migration to Public Cloud and Private Cloud. Also help lead/support activities related to migration to the Google Cloud.

In this role, you will:
  • Organize and lead complex on-prem asset analysis to understand the data, sourcing, usage.
  • Clustering of data to create move groups for data migration to the Cloud
  • companywide initiatives to ensure that data quality is maintained so that data can effectively support business processes
  • Oversee analysis and reporting in support of regulatory requirements
  • Identify and recommend analysis of data quality or integrity issues
  • Evaluate data quality metrics and data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality
  • Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of data governance standards and procedures
  • Identify new data sources and develop recommendations for assessing the quality of new data
  • Lead project teams and mentor less experienced staff members
  • Recommend remediation of process or control gaps that align to management strategy
  • Serve as relationship manager for a line of business
  • Consult with and provide recommendations to senior management regarding assessments of the current state of data and metadata quality within area of assigned responsibility
  • Represent client in cross-functional groups to develop companywide data governance strategies
  • Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior managers to coordinate and drive collaboration on solution design and remediation execution
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of experience with Big Data or Hadoop tools such as Spark, Hive, Python, Kafka and Map
  • 3+ years of experience with data governance and management practices
  • 2+ years of experience with Cloud technologies
  • 5+ years of experience with SAS or SQL, or other data management, reporting and query tools
  • 1+ years of ETL, data warehouse and data analytics delivery experience on internal or external cloud platforms
  • 1+ years of configuration experience with Cloud service providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or MS Azure
  • 2+ years of experience in planning and managing cloud application migration and large-scale cloud platform deployment
  • 2+ years of experience creating visual reports with one or combination of the following: SSRS, Tableau, or PowerBI
  • 1+ year of risk and regulatory compliance experience
  • 2+ years of financial industry experience
  • 2+ years of experience presenting information to senior leaders
Desired Qualifications:
  • Hands on analysis, reporting and presenting data analysis to senior leaders in support of cloud pre-migration activities.
  • Ability to translate and summarize complex data into understandable, actionable information and into executive level recommendations.
  • Ability to review and analyze documents, metadata, system logs to extract data, user interviews and manipulate data to provide actionable insights.
  • Ability to develop and maintain data analysis playbook and instructions.
  • Experience with analysis and implementation of Cloud-first and Cloud-native strategies
  • Experience leading corporation through transition of data assets and analytics to the cloud including Cloud Business Model Definition, outlining Product/Services, operating model, defining migration strategy and approach, collaborating on current and target reference architecture, defining a financial cost allocation model, defining user Enablement Strategy, Plan and Approach
  • Innovative mindset, comfortable in operating in nebulous environments and defining structured approaches
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience
  • Preferred: Experience with cloud migration at a bank or top tier consulting firm.
