Job Duties:The Director of Rehab oversees the entire therapy department including part-time, full-time, and PRN staff membersAttend regular facility multi-disciplinary management meetingsManage relationships with facility leadership/administrationInterview/hire therapy staff in cooperation with RecruitingCreate work schedules for the therapy teamEffectively manage department revenues/expenses to ensure sustainable profitabilityBe the "face of the company" with patient family members and friendsCarry a regular patient caseload. Minimum 50% productivity (expectations vary depending upon the size of the facility)Understand and ensure the therapy team maintains strict compliance with government regulations and guidelinesTrain the therapy team on policies, procedures, and documentation requirementsEducation/Experience Required:Prior DOR experience preferred, but not requiredSincere love & concern for the geriatric population.
