About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at Nova Health & Rehab Center. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by assisting in food preparation and service, maintaining clean and sanitary conditions in the kitchen and dining areas, and adhering to established health, sanitary, and infection control policies.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in food preparation and service, maintaining a clean and sanitary environment in the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Follow established health, sanitary, and infection control policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and supervisors to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance knowledge and skills in food safety and sanitation.
  • Work collaboratively with the Food Service Director and Cook to ensure efficient and effective food service operations.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a high school program or have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation principles.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
