Information Security Engineer

Our client is a regional bank that is looking for a Network Security Engineer to join their growing security team. They are looking for an Information Security generalist that will be responsible for designing, implementing, and securing their network architect in a hybrid OnPrem/Cloud environment (GCP). You will collaborate with third party providers and optimize security measures to protect and enhance the infrastructure of their security posture.
The ideal candidate for this role is someone with a strong understanding of compliance, network security, and cloud technologies. This is a pretty strategic role so candidates must have excellent communication and project management skills. Candidates must be local to the Providence, RI area and must be comfortable going onsite 5 days a week.
Required Skills & Experience
4-5 years of security experience
Understanding/hands on security cloud environments (GCP preferred but open to experience with AWS and/or Azure)
Experience with IAM technologies (Okta, Auth0, OpenID Connect, etc)
Experience partnering with third party vendors
Strong understanding of routers/switches/ and network security tooling
Excellence communication skills, both written and verablly
Desired Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security or related STEM degree
Coming from the Finance industry is a plus
