Job Summary:
Our client, a well-known private Ivy League research University and Education Leader, is seeking an AV Field Engineer to join their team for a 3-month contract. The role involves designing, building, and managing various technologies, specializing in advanced audiovisual systems for classrooms and teaching/learning environments. Responsibilities include managing inventory and schedules in classrooms and event spaces, acting as an escalation point for AV incidents, and assisting in budget planning for AV supplies and equipment.
Responsibilities:
The Audiovisual (AV) Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and managing a wide range of technologies.
Serve as a subject matter expert on advanced audiovisual systems for classrooms and teaching/learning environments.
Manage inventory and schedules in classrooms and event/conference spaces.
Act as an escalation point for AV technology incidents.
Assist in budget planning for AV supplies and equipment.
Preference for candidates with CTS or CTS-I certification (Certified Technology Specialist or Certified Technology Specialist-Installation).
