We are seeking a Key Accounts Manager to sell our products and services which help the transition towards a more sustainable world. You will work in a dynamic multinational team responsible for account management activities with the largest players in the global energy space. You will play a key role in all aspects of client interactions and business development. The role will focus on creating/developing sales opportunities for the accounts you manage, across our full range of products.The successful candidate will combine a strong commercial mindset, great communication and relationship management skills, passion to develop new business, high eagerness to learn, and interest in energy markets. You will work in a dynamic, stimulating, demanding and collaborative environment. You will join our North American commercial team, which is expected to grow and offer potential for progression, including through international expansion and creating new data and software-based solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop a deep understanding of several strategically important accounts. You will be in regular contact with multiple touch points and generate new relationships Provide exemplary customer service. You will ensure that deliverables are provided and seek other opportunities to maximise engagement at a senior levelCapitalise on expansion opportunities. You will follow the strategic milestones and activities of your accounts so that you can foresee upcoming opportunities. You will develop plans to increase the value of accounts through cross selling the full range of Aurora's servicesYou will be leading large negotiations which involve multiple stakeholdersMaintain an opportunity pipeline. You will use Salesforce CRM to track and report on opportunities and ongoing account plansSkills, Knowledge and Expertise1-3 years sales/business development experience, ideally in the power, renewables, or energy storage sectorRelevant Bachelor's or Master's degree Proven leadership experienceYou have a strong commercial mindset and have a good intuition for opportunities which can lead to commercial success You are a creative thinker able to think of new approaches within your authority to solve problems You remain calm under pressure and cope well with uncertainty You have excellent organisation skills and a high degree of patience, persistence, and diligence You have a can-do attitude and willingness to get involved in a range of commercial activities You are motivated by achieving tangible individual and team commercial targets You can communicate and collaborate with both technically and non-technically minded people by asking good questions to receive valuable client information You have outstanding written and verbal communication as well as interpersonal skills You thrive in team-oriented environments Knowledge of at least one major North America power market, with a preference for CAISO, ERCOT, PJM, MISO, Alberta, NYISO, ISONE, and/or SPPBenefitsA dynamic, intellectually stimulating and demanding yet supportive environment The opportunity to grow, learn and contribute to a rapidly growing international business The opportunity to substantially influence major decisions in the energy sector Direct engagement with clients through Aurora conferences, workshops and webinars A fun, informal and international work culture A brand-new office space in the vibrant and culturally rich East Austin Area A competitive salary package
