We are looking for a dedicated Pharmacy Operations Coordinator like you to be a part of our team.Job Summary and QualificationsWe are seeking a Coordinator of Pharmacy Operations to join our team. As our Coordinator of Operations, you will implement and maintain clinical pharmacy programs to ensure clinical services meet the requirement and needs of the patient population and community. If you are dedicated to caring for the well-being of others, this could be your next opportunity.What you will do in this role:You will review medication orders and quality of technicians work to ensure appropriateness of drugs ordered, dosage, route and interactions adjusting medications dosage and schedule as appropriate for patient condition as per policy.You will ensure medications are safely dispensed to patients in accordance with age specific guidelines following appropriate procedures for the sterile preparation of IV admixtures in compliance with USP 797 standards.You will provide oversight of pharmacy distribution activities including order receipt, product storage, controlled substance process, dispensing and other distributional functions. What qualifications you will need:Bachelors of Science degree or Pharm D degree in Pharmacy from College of Pharmacy1 year recent inpatient hospital staff pharmacist experience requiredCurrently Florida Pharmacist licensed registered PharmacistCritical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and/or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).HCA Florida Blake Hospital is a 383 bed hospital. We are located in Bradenton, FL. We have a thirteen acre campus by the Gulf Coast beaches. We are the only state-designated Level II trauma center in Manatee, Sarasota and DeSoto Counties. We have received verification by the American College of Surgeons. Our services include 24-hour emergency care, open-heart surgery, burn care, cancer care, joint replacement and inpatient rehabilitation.
