Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data and BI Architect to join our dynamic team in Nashville, TN. This is a hybrid, on-site role offering a competitive salary of up to $165k per year. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a BI Architect or in a similar role, with a strong background in designing and implementing Business Intelligence (BI) solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement comprehensive BI solutions to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Architect and maintain robust data models, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Lead the development of data warehouses and data marts on BW 7.5 on HANA2.0 or similar platforms.
  • Optimize and tune BI systems for performance and scalability.
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes to ensure timely and accurate data flow.
  • Implement best practices for data management, governance, and security.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in BI technologies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the data and analytics space.
  • Proven experience as a BI Architect or similar role, with a strong background in designing and implementing BI solutions.
  • Extensive experience with BW 7.5 on HANA2.0 or similar versions.
  • Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with programming languages such as Python.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with other BI tools and technologies (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of data visualization best practices.
  • Experience with cloud-based data solutions and services.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure.
