The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for leading, planning and execution of full-cycle recruiting, sourcing candidates, assisting with career pathing, and supporting the development of educational opportunities. This role works with leaders and the Talent team to forecast, hire, and onboard team members and is key in ensuring Progressive Companies has a compelling employee brand and lives into the core values of Diversity, Leadership, Learning and Trust. Deliver Results
  • Lead and develop innovative and effective recruiting plans and strategies for the organization and to identify candidates for each of our discipline areas, across all locations.
  • Oversee the requisition process, employee referral process, recruiting expenses, and communication with recruiting related vendors and resources.
  • Represent and establish Progressive Companies as an employer of choice through collaboration with the Talent Engagement Specialist in various initiatives including internship program, career pathing, DEI initiatives and other areas of focus for talent and pipeline
  • Build talent pipelines by sourcing active and passive candidates and developing sourcing strategies
  • Assess industry talent acquisition and retention trends, analyze key talent metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners such as HR, Finance, Marketing & Communications, and recruiting agencies to attract, onboard, and retain talent.
  • Responsible for interview process including representation of brand, candidate interaction, referral incentives, total compensation communication, and office engagement.
  • Support and engage development of team members through learning and training resources and current and relevant job descriptions and postings, succession plans, and career paths.
  • Utilize applicant tracking system, HRIS, and Learning Management System (LMS).
