We’re better together This role is fully on-site for the first 90 days and Monday through Thursday after that.

What does a great Business Systems Analyst do?
In this position within the Notifi Development team, you will work to identify and assist with the software development process by defining and documenting software requirements. You will also review and test the developed software to ensure that it functions correctly, meets our software development standards, and fulfills the previously agreed to requirements. You will be self-directed and highly motivated with the ability to work independently as well as in a team, in a fast paced environment. You will use your strong planning skills and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. You will use your exceptional verbal and written communication skills to extensive communicate between technical and non-technical audiences.
What You Will Do
Works with internal stakeholders such as Product Management, Client Care, and Compliance, as well as clients, to clearly define and document their requests.
Work as the primary interface between the Business and Technology to analyze and validate published Business Requirements and turn them into functional solutions.
Groom, manage and prioritize the product backlog based on changing requirements.
Assists with diagnosis/troubleshooting of reported problems pertaining to software developed by the team.
Determines how to best implement the requested changes / customization. This may include working with Development staff, Product Managers, QA staff and / or other Business Analysts.
Creates business requirements documentation / programming specifications with sufficient detail to enable application developers to complete the programming request.
If applicable, interface with third-party vendors during design to ensure coverage of the business needs and compliant integration to meet our requirements.
Ensures that the final user documentation effectively conveys the information the client needs.
Tests / validates developed software solution to ensure that the completed product matches with the business requirements and operates correctly.
What You Will Need To Have
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management Information Systems, or equivalent relevant experience.
8+ years of recent Business Analysis experience within global Banking and / or Credit Union organizations, working on large scale technology projects.
3 to 5 years of experience with mobile and web application projects.
Experience working in an Agile development or software production environment managing projects and deployments.
Must have familiarity with software testing and validation methods.
Familiarity with API analysis and test tools such as Postman and Ready API.
Must have familiarity with software problem research methods.
Must be an innovative thinker, as many of the programming requests are for new capabilities.
Experience with SQL, GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Azure, TFS is preferred.
Travel: Occasional business-related travel (not more than 10-20%) may be required.
This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, New York or Washington.
