The Senior Business System Analyst (SBSA) provides critical technical support across SECU in overseeing numerous daily banking systems operations and processes. They work with a team in the administration and support of various business systems and lead system upgrades. The SBSA acts as the liaison between business partners, system vendors, S3 and OTS to identify and resolve technical issues. This person participates in activities, including design, configuration, documentation, test plan development, and testing of projects and new initiatives for various business systems using programming and data analysis tools.

Qualifications:

  • B. A. or B.S. Degree in a related field (computer science, business management or process management) or a combination of education and experience that provides the necessary skills and knowledge to perform the essential job functions.
  • Three to five years of progressively responsible related work experience in banking/credit union processing, operations, or consumer service, required.
  • At least 3+ years in the banking field with a focus on the technical aspects of core processing systems. Must have strong background in understanding core system infrastructure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio).
  • Working knowledge of credit union or bank operations.
  • Experience with system applications and support/administration of systems required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Fiserv DNA and Loan Director preferred, but not required.
  • Financial Institution experience preferred.
  • Experience in collecting and documenting end-user system requirements.
  • User acceptance testing experience.
  • Vendor management experience.
  • Core system conversion experience.
  • Project Management experience.
