Run Operation
- Drive daily backlog free operation in assigned area in order to meet agreed KPIs
- Improve processes to establish an excellent operational model which is highly competitive
- Ensure innovation within agreed area of responsibility
- Making key operational decisions with the support of the DC Mgr
- Manage direct employees
- Achieve a positive and highly engaged team and culture
- Develop people, propose / manage trainings, ensure appropriate skill levels
- Ensure high quality Skill Management and establish a quality culture
- Conduct PfPs, TtTs
- Drive People Survey actions> aim for good results
- Have effective, clear, and concise communication to both Team members and levels of management
- Give planning input to budget of all warehousing & logistics cost
- Drive Pick&Pack cost, identify potential overspend and propose corrective actions
- Ensure that cost related procedures are following corporate policies and local rules
- Ensure continuous improvement process
- Implement and sustain lean methods / install lean culture
- Report selected KPIs
- Ensure and control quality and performance of suppliers
- Shall follow and improve EHS and quality requirements
- Initiate / approve costs or purchases of assets according to local rules
Position holder cannot:

- Change strategy- and/or activity plans
- Involve external persons in projects, which may give them knowledge of strategically and tactical issues without previous acceptance from [relevant manager].
- Significant experience in a leading warehouse operation
- Proven experience working with a Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field
- Experience in managing and leading people
- Fluent command of English and Spanish speaking and writing
- Excellent communication skills, including mastering state-of-the art presentation tools
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Applications and tools
- Training defined in the VV-0372933 Global Distribution Training Catalogue
